She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Porter Matthews and Velma Rose Dame Matthews; her husband Bobby Pendergrass; and her siblings, Eula Mae Brott, Bill Alvin Matthews and Douglas Matthews.
She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Pendergrass, Barbara Pendergrass Tribble and Connie Pendergrass; and her siblings, Gary Wayne Matthews, Wilma Gene Crews and Frances Marie Matthews. She is also survived by many extended family members and a host of dear friends.
