With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Reed of Corning, Arkansas, born in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 16, 2024 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie Reed to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Groves and Laura Mae Groves (Sutton); her former life partner Bryan "Dude" Arnold; and her siblings, Arlie "Bud" Groves, Cecil Groves, Orvil Gene Groves, Opal Wright, Ruby Dale, Lucy Ellis and Mildred Davis.

She is survived by : her spouse Lavern Reed; her son Mel Arnold of Corning; her stepchildren, Dewayne Reed of Little Rock, Debra Jean Austin of Jonesboro and David Reed of Rogers; her grandchildren, Chad Arnold and Teri Fougerousse; and her great grandchildren, Will, Bryan, Seth, Jacob, Rose, Katy and Colby.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ermert Funeral Home (1000 W Elm St, Corning, AR 72422). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ermert Funeral Home, Inc. (1000 W Elm St, Corning, AR 72422). A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at the Corning Cemetery.
