He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lou Carterby and John Amos Carterby; his wife Lisa Carterby; his brother Adam Carterby; and his grandson Cristian Carterby.
He is survived by: his significant other Fay Bernadin of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his son Cris; his daughter-in-law Elisha Carterby of Cove, Arkansas; his sisters, Melinda Simpson of Golden, Bertha Going of Golden and Martha Carterby of Texas; and his grandchildren, Summer Carterby of Cove, Arkansas, Chelsea Carterby of Cove, Arkansas and Cris Carterby Jr. of Cove, Arkansas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
