She is survived by: her nieces, Patricia Desha Childs, Sharonda Howard and Sherry Aaron; her nephew Robert Howard (Tasha); her uncles, Robert Williams "Boobie" and Calvin Dunmore (Martha); her cousins, Faye Marshall Simpson, Veverly Randle (Freddie), Falana Brown (Lee Fred), Edward Brown, Mario Brown, Darus Fields and Valencia Marshall Rogers; her sister-in-law Judy Howard; and her close friends, Easter Mae Brown and Jerry Davis.
