With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eva Hickman of Crossett, Arkansas, born in Ringgold, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Simpson and Mary Hall Simpson; and her brothers, James Ray Simpson and George Alexander Simpson. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Larry Gene Hickman of Crossett; her daughter Julie Hallmark (Danny) of Crossett; her stepson Mark Hickman (Michelle) of Mayflower, AR; her granddaughters, Abigail Hickman and Katelyn Smith (Caleb); and her great grandchild Paisley Smith. She is also survived by family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the First Pentecostal Church of Crossett.
