James Dopson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Dopson of Crossett, Arkansas, born in Huttig, Arkansas, who passed away on September 23, 2022 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Dopson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Dopson and Cecil Taunton Dopson; and his sisters, Maudine Russell, Earlene Bearden, Christine Richardson and Hazel Kennedy.

He is survived by: his wife Margie Hendrix Dopson of Crossett; his sons, Brian Dopson of Sterlington, LA and Barry Dopson (Pam) of Sterlington, LA; his sisters, Joanne Crowder of Southaven, MS and Katherine Thompson of El Dorado, AR; and his grandchildren, Logan, Allie, Dalton and Brianna Dopson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
