With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James R. Scucchi of Crossett, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on October 10, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Raymond Scucchi and Zelmair Busti; his sons, Randy Scucchi and Tony Scucchi; his brothers, Billy, Paul, Donnie, Tommy, Lewis and Bobby; and his grandson Kevin Scucchi.
He is survived by: his wife Tonilynn Scucchi; his children, Suzette Scucchi, Aleta Scucchi Young and Ray Scucchi (Jennifer); his stepson Leroy Bo Higginbotham (Patty); and his sisters, Martha Scucchi Hayes and Deloris Scucchi Poyner. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Bishop-King Funeral Home (1831 South Highway 65 & 82, Lake Village, AR 71653). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Isidore Cemetery (470 St Marys St, Lake Village, AR 71653).
