He is survived by: his wife Diane Cooper Nichols of Crossett; his son Doug Nichols (Karen) of Fairfax, Virginia; his stepdaughter Pam Gulledge (Scott) of Crossett; his grandchildren, Andrew Nichols (Melissa), Brian Nichols, Nick Gulledge and Anna Beth Fitch (Austin); and his great grandchild Baylor Fitch.
