Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dean and Virginia Gore Augustus. He is survived by: his wife Sue Mackey Augustus; his daughters, Amy Marie Harlos (Paul) of Columbus, KS and Emily Jo Westergaard (Steve) of Pleasanton, CA; his sister Rebecca Mayfield (Larry) of Hallsville, MO; and his grandsons, Jackson Dean Harlos, Guy Leroy Westergaard and Ian James Westergaard. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and friends.
