With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Allene Shockley of Danville, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Allene left this world on November 2, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Miller and Cordelia Standridge Miller; her husband George E. Shockley; and her sisters, Bernice Ketcherside, Alma Morris, Pauline Underwood, Juanita Hendrix, Reba Hunter and Wilma Dean Hurst (Herbert Miller).
She is survived by: her granddaughter Heather McLeod (Clayton); and her sister-in-law Rena Miller. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. George Church of Christ (10029 Mount George Ln, Danville, AR 72833). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
