He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart Chronister and Thelma Nowlin Chronister; his siblings, Rayburn, Harold of Henry, H. S., Bonnie Troutt, Earlene Simpson, Jettie Burris and Martha Rickett; and his sister-in-law Patsy Love Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Chronister; his son Clinton Chronister (Yvonne); his brother Wendell Chronister; his granddaughter Elizabeth Newton (Lonnie); and his great grandchildren, Aurora Newton and Ronan Newton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cornwell Funeral Chapel (207 Quay St, Dardanelle, AR 72834). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
