It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewel Moore of Dardanelle, Arkansas, born in Nacogdoches, Texas, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent J. C. Moore; his siblings, Lily Pete, Bobby Moore and Adolphus "Snowball" Moore; and his granddaughter Kenadee Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Pearl Moore; his children, Marilyn Guidry (Tony), Michael Moore (Mamie), James Moore, Monica Young (Jeff), Melinda Scott (Gaylen) and Dennis Moore (Lacie); and his adoptive son Jonathan Carter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
