It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Stewart Bata of Dardanelle, Arkansas, born in Flippin, Arkansas, who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Loyd F. Stewart; her husband Bobby L. Bata; and her sister Janey Gentry. She is survived by: her children, Cindy B. Brumley (Michael) of Garland, Steve H. Bata (Bonnie) of Lancaster and David L. Bata (Lisa) of Clarksville, Tennessee; her brothers, Jimmy Stewart, Jack Stewart, Joe Stewart and Johnny Stewart; and her grandchildren, Stacey L. Grimes, Stephanie N. Ferrell, Scott H. Bata and Kyle R. Bata. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Vacation Bible School Program.
