He was predeceased by: his parents, Linzy Carter and Athleen Passmore Carter; and his brother-in-law Ray Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Carol Gilbert Carter; his sons, Jonathan Newell Carter, Joshua Joseph Carter (Amanda) and Dennis Aaron Moore; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Lavigne (Al) and Susan Gilbert. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
