She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Beutelschies and Arminta Brummett Beutelschies; her husband John Leonard King; and her siblings, Carl Beutelschies, Orville Beutelschies, Hazel Badger, Louise Jamison and Ruby Cox.

She is survived by: her children, Dena Mercer, Dennis Mercer of Duncanville, Judy Hoofman of Euless, Karen Davidsaver, John Davidsaver of Mountain Home, Arkansas and John C. King; her daughter-in-law Marylynn King of Damascus, Maryland; and her grandchildren, Matt Mercer, Clint Woodall, Josh Mercer, Jenny Mercer, John Hoofman, Sam Clay, Natalie King and Julie Ana King. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
