We announce the death of Twila June Pearson Thompson of De Queen, Arkansas, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 92. Twila will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Pearson and Ethel Perkins Pearson; her husband Dr. Clyde Clinton Thompson, Jr.; her son Larry Thompson; and her siblings, Kenneth E. Pearson and Janice Mayfield.
She is survived by: her son Stan Thompson of De Queen; her granddaughter Melody Gray of Little Rock, Arkansas; her great grandchildren, Caroline Michelle Gray of Little Rock and Rhett Gray of Little Rock; her brother Maurice (Caroline Pearson) of Maud, Texas; and her niece Penny Pearson of Maud. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home (403 W Stillwell Ave, De Queen, AR 71832). Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel (403 W Stillwell Ave, De Queen, AR 71832). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
