It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernon Leroy Austin of Decatur, Arkansas, born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Forrest Austin and Edna Peterson Austin; and his brother Lyle Austin. He is survived by : his former life partner Judith Diane Kelley; his wife Judy; his sons, David Austin (Angela) of Decatur and Paul Austin (Alyson) of Decatur; his sister Wanda Tormey (Jim) of Decatur; and his sister-in-law Linda Austin of Decatur. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
