Wanda Ruth Tormey Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Ruth Tormey of Decatur, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wanda Ruth Tormey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Percy Austin and Edna Bell Peterson Austin; her brothers, Forrest Lyle Austin and Vernon Leroy Austin; and her sister-in-law Paula Kay Davis.

She is survived by: her husband James H. Tormey II of Decatur, Arkansas; her daughter Amy Lynn Brooks of Decatur, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Sydnie Elizabeth Brooks of Decatur, Arkansas and Deegan Edwin Brooks of Decatur, Arkansas; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Kay Austin of Decatur, Judith Diane Austin of Decatur and Pamela Jane Walton (Don) of Green Valley, Missouri. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Circle of Life in Springdale, Arkansas.
