As Rebecca Joann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Rebecca Joann. Though Rebecca Joann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Eugene Dickens and Myrtle Beatrice Tillery Dickens. She is survived by: her husband Claud Garrison Jr.; her stepdaughters, Treasea Ray (Duane) and Julia Duvall (Edward); her sisters, Barbara LaRue and Kim Harris (David); and her grandchildren, Brittney Reed (Kurt), Matthew Ray, Jacee Duvall (Dow Dollar), Chris Duvall (Sarah) and Devon Duvall. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; three nieces; three nephews and several other family members.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cornwell Funeral Chapel (207 Quay St, Dardanelle, AR 72834). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
