He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ronald and Lola Mae Dutton Davis, Sr.; his son Danny Paul Davis; and his siblings, Helen Thompson, Ronnie Davis, Jr., Dale Davis, Fred Davis, Will Davis and Bob Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Maxey Davis of Delight; his children, Lori Allgood (Steve) of Delight and Mike Davis (Debbie) of Delight; and his grandchildren, Mikee Miller, Katie Allgood and Mitchell Ryan Allgood. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
