He was predeceased by: his parents, William Samuel and Louise Clayton Linely; his wife Linda Lucas Linely; and his granddaughter Jayden Alyssa Linely. He is survived by: his sons, Justin Linely (Monica) and John Linely (Judy); his siblings, Skip Linely, Judy Wiley and Sandy Holloway; and his grandchildren, Breannah Linely, Jessica Linely, Hunter Linely, Lucas Linely, Mallory Linely, Joseph Gentry and Brittany Ketchens. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service (101 N 2nd St, McGehee, AR 71654). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cogbill Cemetery (2412 Airport Rd., WYNNE, AR 72396).
