It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lee Scott of Des Arc, Arkansas, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Christine Jones. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Scott; his children, Shannon Jones (Steve), Heather Scott, Jessica Green (Scott), Alan Massengale (Jessie) and James Scott (Julie); his grandchildren, Rachel Scott, Holden Green and Linden Green; his brothers, Donald "Boots" Scott (Beulah) and Carl Scott; and his siblings' children, Elizabeth Scott, Jennifer Wilkerson and John Scott (Shannon).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garth Funeral Home Chapel (221 Main St, Des Arc, AR 72040). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:20 AM at the Veteran Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120).
