He is survived by: his wife Corman Hartley Tipton; his children, Derrick Tipton (Janie) of Conway, Tonya Sanders (Earl) of Stuttgart, Amanda Baker (Lindy) of DeValls Bluff and Jeremy Tipton (Tina) of Carlisle; his sister Marty Tucek (Robert) of Stuttgart; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Persons of Humphrey and Karen Tipton of Hazen. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
