She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kirkemier and Margaret Kirkemier; her husband Houston Newkirk; her brothers, Calvin Minor, Henry Lee Kirkemier and Frank Fred Kirkemier (Sonny); her son-in-law Bill Houvener; and her great grandchild Zachery Dalton Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Houvener, Connie Anderson, Angie Newell (Dean) and David Newkirk; her grandchildren, Jason Anderson (Crystal), Lindsey Skinner (Chad), Darren Newell (Hannah), Derrek Newell (Jettie), Haley Cathey (Brad), Riley Burton and Gage Hankins; her great grandchildren, Chase Skinner (Bo), Drake, Averi Newell, Tatum Cathey, Hayden, Lacey Rogers and Zoey Anderson; her great great grandchild Steele Rogers; her brother Rodger Kirkemier; Zakery Skinner.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westbrook Funeral Home (183 N Livermore St, Hazen, AR 72064). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church (7556 US-70, De Valls Bluff, AR 72041).
