We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2024, at the age of 79, Betty Mae Paxton Ward (DeWitt, Arkansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Eldon James Paxton (Jim) and Ida Myrtle Lincomfelt Paxton; her husband Jim Norman Ward; her daughter Machell Lynn Ward Pace; her son-in-law William Pace (Bugs); and her siblings, Katherine Davidson, Blanche Arthur, Joyce HEnderson, Margie Coker and James Paxton (Dood).

She is survived by : her daughter Elisa Lynn Ward; her siblings, Norma Childers (Jerry), Brenda Fread, Bob Paxton (Susan) of DeWitt and Bill Paxton (Tina) of DeWitt; and her grandchildren, Krystal Dozier (James) of Thibodaux, LA, Ashlee Key of Little Rock, AR, Michael Key and Angelia Key of Conway, AR. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Essex Funeral Home (1405 S Grandview Dr, DeWitt, AR 72042). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
