He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Maddox and Ida Maddox; his brothers, Don and Harold Maddox (Gladys); and his son Steve.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Hubbard; his daughters, Barbara Berry (Hunter Richardson) and Debbie Wisdom (J. R. Mills); his grandchildren, Josh Wisdom (Jennifer), William Wisdom, April McMillin (Murray), Jessica Hall (John Veasman) and Jerilyn Roberts; his great grandchildren, Jonathan Riley McMillin, Charlie McMillin, Nicole Roberts, Carter Hall, Allison Hall, Colin Green, Kaci Roberts and Drew Zimmerman; and his caregiver Jay Cox.
