He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther VanHorn and Vera VanHorn; and his siblings, Rosalyn Connor, Ebrena Connor, Virginia Place, Doris Dye, Winiford and Virgil VanHorn.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Beason VanHorn; his children, Ragie Burt VanHorn, Kelly Layman and Ann West VanHorn; his grandchildren, Jessica Miller (Codi) of Dewitt and James Ross VanHorn (Bailey) of Beebe; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Brantley, Reid, Kase, Kenzi and Lane.
