She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Penix and Mabel Smith Penix. She is survived by: her husband Aubrey McGhee; her children, Alan McGhee (Latricia) of Harrison and Allison Hudson (Larry Dale) of Ethel; her grandchildren, Ian Dyer (Holly), Hayden Hearn (Morgan), Rylee Hearn (Brayton), Tanner (Maranda) and Maci Fox (Randall); her brother David Penix; and her nephews, David, Jr. and Joey Penix.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Essex Funeral Home (1405 S Grandview Dr, DeWitt, AR 72042). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to the Caring and Sharing Food Pantry, P.O. Box 8, DeWitt, AR 72042.
