He was predeceased by: his parents, Wille D. Shelton and Madge Shelton (Guarr); and his wife Betty Shelton (Parsley). He is survived by: his children, Don Shelton, Jr. (Cindy) of Conway, Steve Shelton (Debbie) of Heber Springs and Susan Shelton Morrison (Randy) of Diaz; his grandchildren, Kelly Hartwick (Brad), Erin Wells (Matt), Ashley Shelton, Shane Wilhite, Hannah Hardin Simpson (Andy), Randy Lee Morrison (Amy), Will Hardin, Makenzie, Matt Hardin (Sarah) and Joe Hardin (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Savannah Hartwick, Sawyer Hartwick, Laurel Wells, Landon Wells, Sydney Kate Hartwick, Lana Simpson, Bellamy Boatman, Carson Morrison, Noah Hardin, Stella Hardin, Sawyer Hardin, Trent Hardin, Whitt Hardin, Jack Hardin and Wilks Hardin; his sisters, Bonnie Payne of Searcy and JoAnn Phillips of Richland, Mississippi; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Hohn of Diaz and Sue Carlyle of Diaz.
