He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ruth Thompson of Dierks; his daughters, Tammy Michele Thompson-Gunning (Jerry) of San Diego, Alisa Janine Thompson (Ben) of San Francisco and Shawna Cathleen "Amanda" Thompson-Manarchy (John) of El Cajon, California; and his granddaughter Sara Cathleen.
