She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Thomas and Ava Newton Bailey; and her siblings, Earl Thomas Bailey, Virgil Bailey, Olene Hendrix and Christine Lemons.
She is survived by: her husband Al Gibson of Frisco, Texas; her brother Ray; her siblings-in-law, Vondel Bailey of Paron, Arkansas, Timothy and Nita Gibson of Yazoo City, Mississippi; and her close friend Charlie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
