Billy Dunlap Obituary
Billy Ellison Dunlap, born June 11, 1980, in Atlanta TX, passed away on November 1, 2025, at his home in Doddridge AR. He was 45 years old.
He is preceded in death by parents Billy J. Dunlap and Shirley D. Dunlap.
He is survived by wife Carla Rose (Lightfoot) Dunlap of Doddridge AR; daughters Stella Grace Dunlap and Evie Rose Dunlap of Doddridge AR; sisters Vickie Kimbrell and husband Gary of Houston TX, Sheila K Watkins and husband Barry of Queen City TX, Barbara Sullivan and husband Clinton of Ida LA, Ann Robertson and husband Bubba of St. Francisville LA, Deborah Davis and husband Shane of Fouke AR, Sonia Treadway of Atlanta TX, Nita Dunlap of Texarkana TX, and Brandy Dunlap of Fouke AR; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and dear friends.
Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers, and fish frys and crawfish boils with the people he loved most, his family and friends. He spent many years working in the oil field as a rig operator, where he made friends that quickly became more like family. He inherited a love for 18-wheelers from his dad, carrying that pride with him throughout his life. Above all, his greatest happiness came from time spent with his family, especially his beloved daughters, who were the light of his world. Known for his outgoing spirit and big-hearted personality, he never met a stranger and left a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know him. Everyone knew when Billy was around, and if for some reason you didn't, he would give the loudest "yell" that could easily be heard from a mile away.
Billy is being cremated under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home in Queen City TX. A memorial service in his honor will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, beginning at 11am, at First Baptist Church of Queen City, pastor Billy Sheets officiating.
