He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar E. Givens Sr. and Mary Azalee Hawkins; his sisters, Mary Ann Givens and Nellie R. Nichols; and his grandsons, Bryce Evan Givens and Hayden Zayne Givens.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda L. Givens of Atlanta, Texas.; his children, Oscar E. Givens III (Rebecca) of Texarkana and Jennifer M. Hamilton (Phillip W. Hamilton) of Atlanta, Texas.; his grandchildren, Drake Hamilton, Hannah (Wade Carter), Brynna Givens, Madisyn Givens, Aidan Hamilton, Zayne Givens and Makenna Hamilton; and his siblings, Betty Rich of Texarkana, Francis Patterson (Randy Patterson), Pat Calhoon (Wiley Calhoon) and Bill Givens (Fran Givens).
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (23465 State Hwy 237, Doddridge, AR 71834).
