He is survived by: his sister Patricia Freeman of Dover; his stepson Danny Spain (Mary Kay) of Oak Island; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Spain (Sandy) of Vicksburg, MS and Amy Scott (John) of Oak Island; and his nephew Darrel John Kelly of Coriscana, Texas..
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Akin Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
