He is survived by: his wife Anita Alewine; his son Richard Lee Alewine (Melinda) of Benton, LA; his grandchildren, Richard Kipling Alewine of Dallas, TX, Brian Miller (Hilary) of Cheyenne, WY and Kaylee Miller of Bossier City, LA; his great grandchildren, Baylor Gray, Kennedy Miller and Scotty Miller; and his brother-in-law Lee Young. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and long-time friends and other family members.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Rose-Neath Cemetery (5185 Swan Lake Rd, Bossier City, LA 71111).
