He was predeceased by: his parents, Urel Hogan and Pauline Watson; his stepfather Willis "Dude" Watson; his son Jacky Paul Hogan; and his brothers, Ray Watson and Roger Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Hogan; his children, Steve Kelly (Dana), Rodney Hogan (Tonya), Kevin Hogan (Wendy), Junior Clement (Jennifer) and Christie Gatlin (B. J.); and his sisters, Debbie Watson and Lisa Hogan-Skinner. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
