He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ancel and Mary Evelyn Ancel (Best); and his brother Robert Ancel. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ancel; and his children, Jamey Ancel (Harriet) of Wynne, John Ancel (Shelley) of Sherwood, Stephen Ancel of Heber Springs and Debbie McGill of Heber Springs. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Banner Church of Christ (2530 Floral Rd, Concord, AR 72523).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the giver's favorite charity for children.
