He is survived by: his children, Dontae Sowers of Pine Bluff and Lasmine Furlow (Jacobi) of El Dorado, Arkansas; and his siblings, R. J. Sowers Jr. of McGehee, Roderick Sowers (Angela) of Pine Bluff, Kenneth Sowers of Reno, Nevada, Betty Hancock (Verl) of Milwaukee, Arutha White of Gould, Arkansas, Bobbie Rainey of Gould, Arkansas and Stephanie Reed of Gould, Arkansas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
