It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jean Starks of Dumas, Arkansas, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Starks Sr. and Dora Waddy Starks; and her siblings, Billy Joe Starks, Gwendolyn Starks, Cathy Brunson and Mary Starks Charles.
She is survived by: her children, Antonio Starks (Ranae) of Oak Harbor and Dijounka Banks (Steven) of Dumas, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Taniya Starks, Trae Starks, Brooklyn Evans, Kayden Ellis, Mya Ellis and Khloey Banks; and her siblings, Carolyn Wilder (Wendell) of Texas, Leon Waddy of Dumas and Sylvester Starks (Sonja) of Little Rock, Arkansas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Serenity Gardens Funeral Services (136 St. Hwy 159 N, Dumas, AR 71639). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
