It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Smallwood Wells of Dumas, Arkansas, who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Smallwood and Elois Howerton Smallwood; her husband Woodrow "Woody" Wells; and her siblings, Charles Smallwood and Emma Lee Sparks.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Wells (Nancy) of Dumas, AR, Barbara Stewart of Conway, AR and Dana Jones (Ken) of Dumas, AR; and her siblings, Travis Smallwood of Haughton, LA, Kenneth Smallwood of Dumas, AR and Jean Jones of Dumas, AR. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Folds of Honor or Dark Corner Cemetery.
