He was predeceased by: his father John E. Bishop, Sr.; his son Jacob Bishop; his sister Rhonda Kay Bishop; and his grandparents, William Basil Hoyt and Erma Hoyt.
He is survived by: his sons, Johnathan Bishop (Kaley) of McGehee and Jase Bishop of Dumas; his grandchildren, Jack Elliott Bishop and Jacklyn Monroe Bishop of McGehee; his mother Lila Bishop Freeman; his stepfather Dennis Freeman of Dumas; his siblings, Tommie Bishop Palsa of Lake Village and Mike Bishop of Southaven; his nephew William Eddie Palsa of Winchester; and his pet Bell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
