He is survived by: his wife Patsy Winford; his children, Joann Copeland (Larry) and Barry Winford (Tonnia); his grandchildren, Miranda Hardin (Jordan), Jacob Copeland and Trey Winford; his great grandchildren, Kynzea Hardin, Kyndal Hardin and Kayden Winford; and his siblings, Glen Winford, Mary "Cookie" Gann, Erma Thomas, Carol Linebarger and Mattie Harrison.
