He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKenzie and Ruby Beatrice McKenzie (Brixey); and his siblings, William McKenzie, Donnie McKenzie, Glen McKenzie and Billy Wayne Gunter.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley McKenzie; his children, Bettina Cole "Scooter Pooter" (Tim), Shelly McKenzie-Young "Stinker Pot" (Rudy) and Bridgette McKenzie; his siblings, Dwight McKenzie, Johnny Sue Rhodes (Bobby) and Sandy McKenzie; his grandchildren, Britney Acuff "Yode" (David) and Whitney Boyd "Monkey"; his great grandchildren, Aris Brady and River Brady; his son-in-law Kenny Boyd (Cristy); and his caregivers, Madison and Samantha.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home (322 N Market St, Benton, AR 72015). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
