He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Katherine Fletcher Wilson; his son David Wilson; and his siblings, Wayne, Bruce Stringer, Letha Echols, Cynthia Petsick and Carrie Lofton.
He is survived by: his children, John Edward Wilson (Petra) of Rockport, AR and Teresa Brady (Bernard) of Strong, AR; his grandchildren, Drew, Dustin, Matthew, Josh, Cara, Rhys Wilson, Mason True (Jade), Bryce and Shaeli Brady; his brothers, Butch Wilson (Rachel) and Jackie Wilson; and his close friend Mary Lou Funderburg. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Union Missionary Baptist Church (144 Crain City Rd, El Dorado, AR 71730). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens (5044 N Wyatt Dr, El Dorado, AR 71730).
