It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carmen Teresa Smith of El Dorado, Arkansas, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Bruce G. Murph and Marjorie Porter Murph of El Dorado. She is survived by : her husband David Keith Smith of El Dorado; her daughter Cherie Smith Carpenter; her son-in-law Jeremy Carpenter; her grandson Jackson Daniel Carpenter; her siblings, Jerry Murph (Kathy) of Parkers Chapel and Aleta Reed of El Dorado; and her sister-in-law Pam Blake (Earl) of Parkers Chapel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and a close-knit group of friends and their children.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Teresa's memory to St. Jude Hospital.
