Christine Allen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Allen (El Dorado, Arkansas), who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sibling Hoover Goodwin (Ham); and her husband Henry Archer. She is survived by: her siblings, Charlie Austin Goodwin and Hamp Smead Goodwin; her children, Virginia Norman (William) of Waxahachie, Texas, Henry Archer (Shirley) of DeSoto, Texas, Clifford Allen of Los Angeles, California, Leroy Allen (Rebecca) of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Gracie Allen, Ardella Lee (Cleveland) and Patricia Mathis; her sister-in-law Alta Mary Fields; her son-in-law John Mathis, Jr.; and her cousin Mary Ann Goodwin. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
