Deborah Cook Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Deborah Cook of El Dorado, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Deborah left this world on July 21, 2025 at the age of 61, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Deborah may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Deborah touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter John and Joyce Luwan Triplett Burditt; and her brother Walter Burditt, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Tracy Andrew Cook; her children, Marcy Cozbey and William Hodges (Laura); and her sisters, Connie Burdine (Steve) and Terry Burditt. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Norphlet United Pentecostal Church (503 N Texas, Norphlet, AR 71759).
