He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin M. Chastain and Martha "Mattie" Burton; his wife Penny Freeman Chastain; and his sister Mary E. Coshatt. He is survived by: his children, Paige Thomasino (Scott) of Alabaster, AL, Stacey Morris (Wayne) of El Dorado, AR, Chris Frisby (Cindi) of El Dorado, AR and Deborah Conway of Huntsville, AL; and his brother Ben Chastain of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Smyrna Cemetery.
