He was predeceased by : his parents, Geneva Halbrook Howard and Thurston T. Howard; his son Steven Earl Howard; and his sister Patsy Hughes. He is survived by : his wife Cleetis L. Howard; his sons, Doug Howard of El Dorado and Greg Howard of El Dorado; his granddaughter Kelsey Howard of Little Rock; and his siblings, J. T. Howard, Donald Howard, Jimmy Howard and Kathleen Cryser. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
