Earnest touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Earnest’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Hampton Sr. and Essie Blueford (Williams); and his grandparents, Earnest and Mary Blueford. He is survived by: his wife Betty A. Hampton; his children, Kevin Hampton, Shawn Benton, Quinson A. Blueford and Evelyn "Nell" Sanders (Dennis) of El Dorado, AR; and his siblings, Mozell Moore, Lavern "Jake" Blueford, James Louis Blueford (Ruthie) of El Dorado, AR and Everlean Pickett of El Dorado, AR. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the United Baptist Church (130 Hinson Rd, El Dorado, AR 71730).
